So driving by the old Chubby's bar, a lot of upgrading is going on. Actually the building is looking better than it has in a long time. Rumor says it is bought by the guy that owns Julios in Hayward. If so, I hope they call it Julios 2; that way it will make the place a more credible bar to walk into. Just a thought....

They do good business in hayward as far as i know so Albert lea could be another good place for one.

I hear it is going to be called Southside Saloon. Hope they tell people who the owners are. Maybe it will last then.

Tax records show the property is owned by Marty Herman. The address of record is Julio's in Hayward. Not seeing a liquor license issued yet for them.
