Mitt Romney put on the most commanding presidential debate performance of the insta-commentary era. One could literally watch, on Facebook and Twitter, hundreds of people on both sides of the political divide react in real time as the debate went on.

Their reactions were identical, though their moods were not: As Romney dominated exchange after exchange with a surprisingly effective combination of pointed personal touches and remarkable factual preparation, conservatives and Republicans grew more and more jubilant while liberals and Democrats grew more and more alarmed.

Meanwhile, the president was so off his game that he failed even to create

accept the Bible just as it is, for exactly what it claims to be. dont worry about the theories of the critics. the ingenious and impudent effort of modern criticism to undermine the historical reliability of the Bible will pass; and THE BIBLE itself  will stand as the Light of the human race..

Unfortunately I'm thinking Romney was the winner of this one.  It looked bad that Obama kept going over his time, and in my opinion Obama should've went after Romney on his Boca Raton video on the 47%.  Romney can hardly campaign as if he cares about those millions of people he keeps bringing up if in private high dollar events he speaks so badly of them.  But maybe his advisers had a reason and suggested to avoid that topic.

The guy only cares about the rich:  venture capitalists, executives, oil companies, etc.  Don't let him pretend otherwise, because he's given plenty of ammunition to the Obama campaign to prove otherwise.
