Well, let's see if we can get some closure to this issue.
My challenge to the posters and readers of this forum
that think there is a skunk in the trunk.  My solution
is to pick a week in October and generate 200 - 300 polite
phone calls, 300 emails and any other form of communication
with the Minnesota Attorney General.  Her name is
Lori Swanson.  She is a good person.  Remember, we
need a minimum of 200 phone calls and 200 emails
but 500 of each would be better.  Anyone wanna try?

I made calls and sent emails to the State Auditor back at the beginning of Jim Norman's problems. I'm willing to do some more calling and emailing to the AG. Wonder if we could put up flyers around town. Probably not huh?

There could be political mailings, much like the candidates are doing. Savick's proponents are sending out anti-Rich Murray propaganda that don't even mention her name. If something like that is acceptable, then so should mass mailings about investigating Moen.

If this happens, I'd love to be the fly on the wall when they bring the mail in at their house and see her mug on a political mailing.

Ok, you have no idea how much I wish I had used an anonymous type name for this forum.  :(
I called the Attorney General's office and was told that they can't investigate any of this. She said we have to go to the City Attorney, County Attorney or Freeborn County Sherrif and file complaints asking for the misuse of credit cards to be investigated. When I asked about the State Auditor, she told me the State Auditor would also tell us to do the same.  ???

Now what?

I like your idea This is my real name.

Likey a truck load of dirt.  :frusty:

Ok, city & county officials, you read this site daily, now would be an appropriate time to fess up and do something about Moen.  But you'll probably tell us that it would have to wait until after you are re-elected before you can "look into" the situation.

It's amazing that Jim Norman gets convicted of 6 felonies, while Rhonda Moen, who admits in court to doing the exact same thing he did, gets to become Finance Director for the City of Owatonna.
On the City of Owatonna's offical website, Rhonda had the title "Finance Director"  . I just checked again, and she has no title listed now. Is she still Finance Director?

They'll need to hire a consultant to look into first.

Just answered my own question. Yes she is still the Finance Director for Owatonna:

QUOTE
Finance Director Rhonda Moen said he increase of .17 on the levy from last month’s presentation to the council would give the city $16,330 more from the levy. From this point, the proposed increase on the levy can only decrease.

Wonder why Owatonna removed her title from their website.  :p
