Just some random pictures I took while out driving to work the other day. I drove to work via back country roads obviously.

Nice pictures. It gets quite hilly around that area where you took the picture of the exit sign.

Well for an area of the country that is mostly known for being flat anyway.

You can see the hills pretty good in that picture too.

If you take I-35 north the area I took that picture is the gravel road that runs parallel to the interstate on the west side for a few miles. Yes it does get hilly back on those country roads and the views can be quite fascinating when taking pictures.

A little dreary today, but there are still a few bright ones.

I've always liked this little church.

Is that Pickeral Lake or is that Iowa?
Posted by MADDOG on Oct. 24 2010,8:34 pm

Gorgeous pics Madmutt.

That is a nice shot. It looks like the church has been refurbished a bit. It is a really a neat/interesting, design-wise, little church

Isn't there a haunted house on that road too? lol

Sort of close to the church?

Thanks Wolfie, but I've just got some pics on a thumb drive and would like to get them developed on my afternoon off.

I've got a bunch of aerial photos from a couple years ago, don't think I've posted them until now.  This is my favorite one of the lakes.

Those are awesome pics.  I have often thought about getting out and throwing a few on myself, but after the wind storm there wont be anything left. I will wait till winter and grab some cool shots then.

I love the pics my old 35mm takes,  :p  but I even gave up the disposable cameras I used to carry too. (Although they are handy as heck.)  I just have a cheap Nikon right now.

MD, and anyone else, I believe you can take the thumb drive out to Wally World and they have a setup that you can do yourself and in an hour or so they will be ready.

If you choose to have something like a coffee mug or something else done with a photo on it it will obviously take longer. My wife had a coffee mug made and it took around a week and was delivered to the store.

I really love this house. It is just down the road from where I work.

I can remember many days growing up on the farm and baling hay with this type of baler. The year I graduated I helped bale the entire 1st and 2nd cuttings of hay before I left for basic training.

I hope she's not staring at a cup of coffee every day with your mug on it.  :D

Walgreens does one hour too.  Spendy even with a coupon though.

No I wouldn't be so cruel to her. I mean I already married her that's cruel enough.  :p  LOL
