This tree frog hung out by our yard light for the last couple months and he seemed to keep the entire area free of most bugs while he was there.

We live across from a marshy area and our backyard has about a dozen trees so we get frogs on both front and back decks. We even had one in our bathroom last week that must have hitched a ride when we took the house plants in for the year. They're a really small frog, I've got a picture of this frog sitting on the 3/4" board that our house numbers are on and it's only about a 1/2" across.

I think the coolest frog in the area is the Chorus frogs that start chirping early in the spring. The cool things about the Chorus frog is it's freakishly small size compared to the volume of their call, and they can be frozen and thawed. I always tell the kids that Spring is here when we start hearing the Chorus frogs calling. The Chorus frogs I've seen are only about a 1/4" to 1/2" long, and real low to the ground so they're hard to spot.
