I bought a Ford Home Almanac from 1938. Neat little book. Will show pics later. Stamped on the back is

JEFFERSON MOTOR CO.
Corner of Clark & Newton
ALBERT LEA, MINN
.

Anyone recall this dealership? I assume its old man Jefferson's boy that owned it but other than that I have never heard of it.

Corner of Clark & Newton--Ahrends building is located there, and it was used for car sales.  The old American Gas building (where City Hall is now located) next door was also the Ford dealership--before Syverson.  Trying to remember the name, was it Pegg?

The building that Arends bought from the city for a dollar, that he now says is worth millions that he wants to trade back to the city for the Vault building?

That's truly a historic pic. ICU812, I'd hang on to that one!
