Spidey,

Nice camera work. You sure have invested alot into this talent of your picure taking. I really enjoy the detail of your close up shot's.

Is this just a fun hobby for you or part of your job income? Your work is good quality and what we would see in magazine's and book's.  Maybe you can talk to the Albert Lea Tribune and see if you can get them to print a monthly flyer to insert into the paper. Or Shopper too.        Keep up the good work.

Looks like a salamander, I've heard they taste kinda like chicken.

Those are some nasty looking stinging insects, not your run-of-the-mill honey bee.

Just curious as to what the other two birds in the first picture are looking at?

That's what I thought at first too, but didn't really think it was on their menu.

I wasn't sure about the bee's ... so I kept my distance. I really wanted to get a closer shot though!

It looks like they are looking at their own reflections     Maybe they are considered the "hotties" of their group   :;):

Great photos..keep 'em coming!  FYI...those are Vespid Wasps, and you do want to keep your distance.

Thanks ... I appreciate the feedback  :)

I did a search on Google about them. It seems this time of year is crucial to stay away because of how agitated they are. They will attack in groups, and they can sting over and over; unlike other bees who lose their stingers after one sting. Other wasps can "smell" the venum that they discharge into their victim and it becomes a frenzy and free for all.

I will not be taking close up's of these guys anytime soon!   :p

Hmmmm ... I don't see a bullhead in those pictures. Bullheads are fat on one end and taper off to the tail. These guys look like they are long with legs. Sure wish I would have noticed this when I was shooting so I could have focused on them! Oh well ... next time.

Sorry, I was re-arranging Photobucket and forgot about how it effects the posts. I will try and fix the most recent ones.
