Why do I see drug commercials that end with "Don't take this drug if you're allergic to it."?If there are Americans that need a warning like that, why don't they have those warnings at the end of peanut commercials?

How is that the drug companies problem? I'd think that would be on your doctor, or the pharmacist. Especially now that doctors realize over 90% of the population has a pharmacogenomic problem that effects the way you metabolize drugs, so they often call a pharmacist before prescribing any new drugs these days.

That is a problem. My wife is a nurse in internal medicine and she regularly screens patients that say they're there to ask the doctor about a medication they saw on TV.Another crazy thing is the number of people taking crap like Balance of Nature, and other supplements advertised on TV. About 1/2 that stuff is in the vitamin aisle at Walmart but they pay 10x the price just because it's advertised on TV.
