It's the arm crossing that makes them look though. I mean, you can not have hit puberty yet and still be a badass as long as you have your arms crossed.
As for the Asian pop, I've tried to avoid watching these videos for fear of the tune getting stuck in my head. A few months ago I had a song stuck in my head for like two or three days and I couldn't figure out where I heard it at first. But the only lyrics I could remember were "Bubble pop" or something like that.

I think it's just hilarious! When that happens it means your brain really likes the song. But you resist this and fight yourself enjoyment and deny your mind to be expanded.
If it helps, K-pop is mid 1960's American music redone with a modern twist. It's nothing new at all.
