I love the quality and service I get at Fisher's Jewelry. Above and Beyond the normal service that I have ever gotten anywhere.

We bought our wedding rings at Stadheim, and get them cleaned there from time to time. We haven't had a problem with their quality or service, but our experience with them is limited to just that. We don't buy a lot of jewelry.

Apparently you do have an issue with them or you wouldn't have brought it up. Care to enlighten us on exactly what happened?

I have bought several pieces of jewlery from them ranging in value, they have been excellent to work with.  I would recomend them to a friend and actually have.

Never have been dissatisfied. Mark and Beth have both been great to myself and my husband over the years. Had to get my wedding ring cut off one year. Fingers had become so swollen in the summer, they did it and welded bands together, have replaced stones, etc. Love the Valentines specials they have had over the years. No compaints here.                                                                 What happened? Try talking to Beth.

I agree with the comment on Fisher's Jewelry. Reasonably priced beautiful jewelry and they are very helpful.

My mother once had a stone fall out of her ring and took it to the mall. The man put a less than the original quality of diamond the rest of the ring had and was quite noticeable. My mother then took the ring to Fisher's to see what it would cost them to re-do.
Instead, Mr. Fisher, called the other jeweler (Skyline"and asked him if he would do it over with the original quality of diamond at no charge, as a favor to Mr. Fisher.   That right there told me what a great salesman he was and definitely excellent on customer satisfaction.   Just that made it an easy choice to when picking jewelers in this town.
I had Skyline Jewelers clean a couple of my diamond rings and they lost two diamonds out of my setting in the process. They said they didn't find any loose diamonds in the cleaner. Apparently, they just "poofed away" into thin air. :dunno: I was very disappointed because it was a very beautiful diamond ring that was given to me by my grandmother. :(

Have a sister that had problems with Fishers.  Hubby got her diamond earings, she took them elsewhere to fix something and was told right then and there that one was not a diamond but cubic zirconian.

They've been in business for so many years, nice people, good quality, good service.
But you're not very specific on your "complaint"?

This was a Diamond issue and they took a very happy time and made it a big headache.  Still not very happy with my results.

Stadhiem has a reputation as your high dollar leader.  If you want to help support their lifestyle have at it.  Jewely is for chumps. Most anything alse holds more value longer. I can buy a Pelican case (brand new) use it for 5-15 years and get 65% back on EBAY in "future dollars". Future dollars could end up being what you paid for the item. I was a business major in college. Now they call me mr bidness.

I had a big problem with them when I was eight. I panned for gold in a river and they said it was worth $.30. I was told by the prospector it was enough for a candy bar.
True story.

I bought a Promise Ring there once in high school, but the promise is only as meaningful as the Black Hills gold the ring is made from.

So I'm not the only one!!??  Not sure if i'm more mad about the terrbile item the sold or the fact they runied what was suppose to be a very happy time.  (then wanted more money to fix their mistake!)

I heard recently of a very cool wedding gift. Instead of a diamond ring, have her wear a cubic zirconia but instead spend the money on a golden ticket and give that to her instead. It's a gold ticket that enables the holder to get out of the marriage cleanly and easily at anytime. And if she presents it, you must honor it.

My brother needed an appraisal done for a Minnesota estate he was the executor for.  Beth's name came up as someone who could do the work.  Being I lived in Albert Lea, he spent two nights with us while Stadheim appraised and provided him with a report on values for the IRS.  My brother stated the work was top notch.  This was sometime ago, but I remember him saying how few people could do the work and he was surprised that one was located in Albert Lea.

I've never bought anything from Stadheims but found them pretty arrogant while looking.  Good experiences with Skyline Jewelers.  Good experiences at Fishers.  Prefer to buy online from Blue Nile.  Apples to apples you will not find better deals.

^My experience would be similar. Jewely just doesn't do it for me though for the most part.  I have a hard time keeping on a watch and glasses. I like my body free of obstructions and ordainments or soemthing, I don't know.

I'm just glad because that stuff is boo coo bucks for nothing really. I like gold though and see nothing wrong with owning the actual metal.

Go to a pawn shop for jewelry, retail is 1600% mark up.

I have only bought one item from them at there store in Austin, MN. Didn't have any problems. That was a few years ago.

I will say one thing , I'm sure glad my parents didn't own a store and I was stuck working there. The owners son Mark was hardly at any of his kids sporting events due to the family store. His wife Terri was at all of the events. Granted he makes good money but seeing your kids grow up is priceless.

Stad's do a lot for the community with the Sparky Golf Tourney and donating to the Realy for Life/Cancer Survivors each year.

Received the most beautiful engagement ring I've ever seen this weekend and it came from Stadheims and my fiance went on and  on about how good they were to him in helping him decide on the right one.

It's a gorgeous ring :D I'm glad he went there :)
