It would seem that Pam Bishop had more than one point to make at a recent visit to an area school. Not bright enough to dress in layers with the frigid temps here in Minnesota. THe other women in the room were quite embarrassed. # Ya think the teens heard a thing she said??? Pam, remember its Bishop not ANDERSON!!!!!!

I think Pam Bishop is all wrong for the position she has and that she needed to be removed long ago. I personally have never met her but have seen her at various functions; she is an attractive woman who is always dressed professionally and appropriately; I think the posters on this site better stick to the facts and leave the fashion comments to Joan and Melissa Rivers.

If you have a problem with the way she was dressed as it relates to here job, contact her employer. Otherwise stop this trash that if it occurred in at the workplace would constitute a hostile working environment. If it were done to you, most of you would be looking for an attorney.

I'll clarify my statement for you maddog. I meant the guys posting in this thread that are complaining the women in town are cows. First off, I don't think they get out much and secondly, with their attitudes, I don't think they can get dates in the first place. It's nice to know somebody is available but so far I've only gone out with men from out of town.I'll try to do a better job of turning my bulb on for you. If it makes you feel good to know when I'm on.

Oh yeah that would be quite the lawsuit, I would love to see Pam Bishop prove to a judge that she doesn't really suck at her job.As evidence she can point to all the new companies she's brought into town. And she could follow that up with evidence on how she's helped the local businesses grow.

It was just a figure of speech, I used to live in a trailer house myself. Sorry, if I offended anyone. Howevery, have you ever noticed when people, be they men or women, are not critical thinkers and cannot intellectually keep up with others they start to cut down a persons physical being??? If someone is overweight, underweight, too short, too tall, too long a torso, too large of hips, too large of belly they feel it is their God given right to make a comment. I will never forget when my child was in grade school and like many grade schoolers was over-weight; a young boy called her fat but when she responded that he was stupid he got all upset and cried. The older I get, and I'm getting there, I realize that all people are beautiful.

Hey, Minnow, I figured you needed your laugh for the day, how's this one. I saw a group of folks with mental disabilities today at the mall, they were trying to shop but this task appeared difficult as a couple of them were blind and one had a Parkinsons like gait, I thought he was going to fall forward onto a big shelf of books. I thought I would die laughing. Then, a few stores down I saw an elderly lady and gentlemen that had just purchased some depends briefs, in Shopko. I grinned and grinned because I figured that would never happen to me. Just as I thought my day could not get any brighter I ran into a lady I had graduated from school with and she didn't have any hair, I knew this because she had a big scarf on her head and I could see no hair anywhere coming out from under that scarf. She told me she had been battling cancer this year and this was one of the unpleasant side effects of the chemo. Good for my heartiest belly laugh!!! If you can't be the least bit intellectually challenging on this post, I hope you no longer do, I am sick of your insults and vial rantings!!!

Pam Bishop couldn't make it in any other town but Albert Lea. She comes to us from some hick town in Iowa (Manchester I think). She comes to Albert Lea and works at our local newspaper and the next thing we know, she's in charge of our economic development. How da heck did she go from being a second rate newspaper worker to running Greater Jobs anyway. Open your eyes people, she obviously doesn't have a clue to her job description cause I sure haven't seen any new economic development happen since she came to town. In fact, we've lost jobs. Hundreds of jobs, then the dumb broad has the audacity to brag about bringing 25 new jobs to town. Knock knock puddin' head, the only reason you still have your job is because Saprks has been covering your ass for years. Obviously you knew the right person to suck up to when you got to town. Needless to say that Paul Sparks doesn't have many friends so he keeps you around for eye candy. Run away miss Bishop...you won't be forgotten. Take your Jobz package with you since all it will do is line the pockets of current business owners and do nothing for getting hundreds of jobs in our community. You're a joke Ms. Bishop, you know it, I know it, and the whole community knows it.

I was shocked when she landed the chamber job and immediatly knew it had more to do with eye candy than business. But, when you're out of work or making under $10 per hour, while she brings down nearly 100K it just pisses you off.

With enough presure, for the long haul, she can be removed. Who would have ever thought we could get rid of Dylan Belden? We wrote letters to the owner of the Tribune, Boone Newspapers, we complained to his publisher right here in town. Belden finally couldnt handle it any longer and just decided to leave, or so thats the story. Pam is just as weak minded as Belden, keep the preasure up people, she wil pack her bags and go back to Iowa eventually.

Other than government officials I have never attacked anyone here unless they attacked first. I looked at it like this, if they start it, I will finish it. Minnow, I am sorry if it wasnt you. If everytime you post you would do it under your registered name, we would delete every post by anyone posting using Minnow that wasnt registered. If you can say everytime you post you are logged in, I will personally delete any unregistered Minnow posts. Is that OK with you? Any Minnow not registered is considered not to be you? Again Minnow, I am truely sorry for how I responded if it wasnt you, we never had problems before, hope we can be OK again.
But please let me know about you logging in, say the word and all unregistered Minnows are gone.
