Wtf is wrong with these people, you live in Florida and you can’t be a bit more prepared?How hard is it to have 4-5 cases of drinking water stashed? To have 6-7 days of food on the shelf and keep your car above a half a tank?

It's a game of chance actually. Hurricanes don't usually hit the same area year after year. It could be 1yr or it could be many years before another hurricane hits that area. It also depends on the size and intensity of the hurricane. Most people don't really do much until it comes out its going to be a major hurricane.
Another issue is capital, prepping for hurricanes takes money needed for other expenses and in brandon's economy now a days. whoo boy.
