Hope we can keep this thread apolitical ...we have enough of those posts going..

I'll start out:

Bald And Bankrupt Benjamin Rich is a YouTuber, English Travel Vlogger And Author. He started his YouTube channel in June 2018, documenting the Indian subcontinent and post-Soviet states, he also toured Cuba and Russia.. he recently toured Syria...

Bald's real name is Benjamin Rich, his first wife was Russian so bald speaks Russian fluently, his new wife is Belarusian she speaks Russian, Spanish, and is able to communicate in many of the Slavic dialects.
He is known for wanting to show “the lives of real locals, away from the tourist sites, he dines on the local cuisine, drinks the local beer...He's extremely personable. He rates lodging and compares costs on his travels.

I've enjoyed many of his videos, his post soviet state tours in a way relate to what's happening in the Ukraine. Bald associates with all ages on his adventures but I've noticed in his conversation with old folks there seems to be a longing for a return to the Soviet days.

I listen to history documentaries while I sleep, just like back in highschool it puts me to sleep in about 5 mins.

Youtube is well worth the subscription price.

He attempted to ride a stock 883 to Mount Everest from New Delhi, got lost deep in the Himalayas got close to the summit, He's also motovlogged all over Australia, deep into the desert on Harleys, all over New Zealand and extensively through South East Asia.

Danny has a good relationship with his local dealer Geelong Harley Davidson but because of some of his reviews he has drew Corporate Harley Davidson's ire..

Corporate Harley Davidson hiring Jason Momoa as a spokesman is ridiculous...they should be sponsoring people like Hays real riders not some Hollywood wannabe...

Daniel Hays has did more to prove the durability of the new Milwaukee 8 than any Iron Butt Rider.

Danny takes some a incredible drone footage.

He's currently in England on a 19 day adventure, he's rented a hard-tail Sportster/chopper I wouldn't ride across town...

I've spent a lot of times watching videos about guitar playing, electronics, crafting, photography, cooking, and baking over the last couple years.

It's taught me how to do things from building a 3D printer to baking pies. You can learn to do just about anything with youtube.

Shadetree Surgeon AKA Joshua Laurenti, American motovlogger..Josh is located in Ybor City Florida, he Manages the Dirty Shame Bar, Josh is a big boy 300lbs. a Millennial, his Video content contains too much jabber and drinking but he deserves the Iron Butt Rider Award..

One example of why Josh deserves this award, Corporate Harley Davidson invited Josh and a number of other motovloggers to California to test and review their Adventure Bike, The Pan America 1250.
When it's time to return to Florida Josh decides not to fly he rather ride, he buys an old Honda Silver Wing, I think these were 500cc the old CX style motor.

He doesn't even bother to check the oil he jumps on that 40 some year old Honda and heads to Florida. As a real testament to Honda Engineering that old bike hauled this 300 lbs. Man and his luggage back to Florida without a problem.

This is what Josh does, he'd love to have a new Harley but admits it's affordably is beyond his income. Josh proves time and time again you can find a decent motorcycle for 1500. or less.

Josh and some friends share a garage where Josh works on these old bikes bring them back to usable condition. Josh has a variety of old bikes in his personal collection he's constantly rotating.

Several years ago Josh became associated with Forgotten Angels. When a kid ages out of the Foster System at 18 they're essentially homeless on the streets, Some States are much more liberal and extend that age but then some put these kids on the street..

just a few stats...
70% of females who age out of foster care become pregnant by the age of 21.
60% of the males who age out have been convicted of a crime

Forgotten Angles gives these kids the skills and time they need, helps with jobs and getting on the right path...

The Harley Pan American? From what I’ve seen on the showroom floor it’s a pig, it’d be merciful if Honda were to buy Harley, bikes haven’t been viable in decades.

The first couple of years the Honda Silver Wing was a 500cc, 1981-1982 Honda GL500 Silver Wing Interstate..

In 83 they bumped it up to 650 for the Silver Wing and the Silver Wing Interstate...

It was the 500cc version Shadetree rode from California to Florida.( 2700 miles ) A 300 pound man and his luggage damn near red lining a 40 some year old Honda says it all...

This opinion was similar to Million Dollar Bogan's review of the Pan America..on the road the 1250 preformed well on the trail it sucked, to heavy...He test rode the Pan America for about a week even took it back to the dealer and had knobbies put on it still had difficulty negotiating the trail..
Bogan does some extreme trail riding, he's got a Road King with knobbies as his trail bike...this guy is crazy..

Personally not a big you tube watcher. When I do it’s similar to one of SBs posts - fixing things. Used it for a number of vehicle repairs and appliance repairs. Been great for that

I'll use YouTube for that too..Had the instrument cluster on my truck start acting up...the local auto shops didn't want anything to do with electronics. The dealership wanted to replace the whole cluster $$...

Found a YouTube year model specific video on how to remove it and what was wrong with the motherboard for lack of a better term. $$ in my pocket....

nothing like a deluge event like that to remind folks how serious a problem flood mitigation is in Albert Lea, Mn

been pretty fortunate to have had a run of summers that haven't had a lot of flooding. . .

that spot by DOLLAR GENERAL there. . has that. . flood pond? or whatever it is called right outside the WATERSHED building there

that was probably well under water if it was coming into the EAGLES. . .

haven't seen any footage of the road construction area by another usual suspects area. . . where GODFATHERS used to be

hard to believe people would attempt some of those crossings

years ago new someone who was unfortunate enough to get a vehicle floating down by the THIRSTY FOX. .

fortunately for them they were able to open the door stick their leg out and push the car to dry land. . . :laugh:

Possibly the world's dumbest detective. It's long but fascinating especially to me after bruising my brain. I had a little tiny bruise and I was so confused for a week or so that I would argue with anyone that said I had suffered a brain injury. It was almost like dreaming while wide awake.

A Tesla Model X Plaid recently went head-to-head against a Lamborghini Huracan EVO in a quarter-mile race. While the all-electric flagship SUV intentionally missed its launch against the supercar, the drag race results between the two high-performance vehicles were just as expected.

Veteran drag racer Brooks Weisblat from YouTube’s DragTimes channel has been showcasing the Model X Plaid in a recent set of videos. Initially, the vehicle was taken through the quarter-mile to see if it would set new records for a production SUV. It did, with the Model X Plaid setting a record with a 2.3-second 0-60 mph time and a 9.7-second quarter-mile pass.

This time around, the Model X Plaid was not just competing with itself, since there’s a supercar on the next lane. Its opponent is no joke, either, as the Lamborghini Huracan EVO is nothing to scoff at. Even in its stock form, the $304k Huracan EVO features 630 horsepower from its 5.2-liter V10 engine. The Huracan EVO does not have as much horsepower as the Model X Plaid, but it is far lighter, weighing over 2,000 pounds less than the Tesla.

In comparison, the Tesla Model X Plaid features 1,020 horsepower from its three electric motors. Being an SUV equipped with a 100 kWh battery pack, the Model X Plaid is a heavy vehicle at 5,390 pounds, but that’s pretty reasonable considering that it seats six adults comfortably. It should also be noted that by the time the Model X Plaid raced the Huracan EVO, its battery was down to 78%.

Despite this, the Model X Plaid still dominated the supercar. Even with Weisblat intentionally launching later than the Huracan EVO, the Model X Plaid still caught up to the Lamborghini without breaking a sweat. A few seconds later and the all-electric SUV was crossing the quarter-mile mark.

The Model X Plaid completed its initial race in 9.903 seconds at 144.84 mph, significantly faster than the Huracan EVO’s 10.964-second quarter-mile time at 129.55 mph. A second round between the two vehicles was even better for the Model X Plaid, as the SUV completed the quarter-mile in 9.837 seconds at 144.44 mph.

I don't know what SB is saying but a lot of this gas vs electric reminds me of when we banned incandescent light bulbs.
I remember Glenn Beck having a stroke over it. What it did so was push LED technology even faster/harder.
I know there isn't a apples/apples comparison and in many jobs (mine included) electric vehicles just aren't ready yet but they are light years of where they were even 5 years ago.

Been playing the free PS game War zone. The map is about 3Km across and there's 30 squads of 4 players. It's a 2017 Harley Davidson Road King Special with knobby tires and other upgrades..he put this bike through the mill a testament to Harley Davidson's Milwaukee Eight.

There's a number of episodes well worth watching as he leaves Los Angeles travels through Mexico and South America but the Bolivian Death Road is the climax of the adventure..

The Bolivian Death Road is more of a tourist attraction these days but when it was in use an average of 300 people a year lost their lives traveling it..
