How is Chuck Grassley worth 7 millions dollars? He started his career in the Iowa statehouse a decade before the moon landing, stayed there until being elected the the US House of Representatives in 75, then elected to the US Senate in 1981. With that much "public service" you wouldn't think he had the time to earn that kind of money.

According to Wikipedia this is his private work experiences.

"During the 1950s, Grassley farmed and worked in factories in Iowa, first as a sheet metal shearer and then as an assembly line worker. From 1967 to 1968, he taught at Charles City College.[7]"

Some day the truth will come out and when it does there will be many who will not believe it as it doesn’t fit their already biased belief.

So, If we are saying the current rate of inflation is going to cost the average tax payer and extra $5,200 a year that means the average tax payer is already paying $62,650 for goods. I’m assuming the 8.3% inflation rate last month.

Well it’s pretty easy to see realize that every tax payer is not spending that much. Considering the average household income in 2020 was only $87,000 the math just doesn’t work

Would like to know how they got to the 5,200 estimate, what all went into it.

Are they just assuming the over all inflation rate? What “spending amount” did they apply it to?

Need to strip out the inflation cost of items people don’t buy every year like cars and homes.

Is the rate of inflation good? No.
Is it just a US problem? No.
Will pointing fingers and passing blame fix it? No
Are there things people can be doing to cut their costs? Yes
Hopefully many with mortgages took advantage of the low rates before they went up.
You should shop your homeowners and vehicle insurance every year or two.
Call your cell phone provider and see if they have a better deal to offer.
Check prices at different stores before you buy
Use the upside app on gas, groceries and restaurants
Look for ways to cut costs. And question the things you buy. Do you really need them?

Instead of following your parties current hot talking points, question, research and look for solutions

they want to be protected from government oppression of practicing their religion

now they want to get in and control the entire government and make everyone subject to the tenants of their particular religion's ideology

where is everyone else's freedom then?
