Why are they so bad? Is the stuff they spray not working? Is it watered down or expired chemical? What should our great city really be doing about them? Mosquitoes i tell ya their bad! :(

The spray guy just came down my dead end street spraying stuff going  about 15 mph. Then he stopped and shut it off and backed all the way back down the street with it off. Their is a place to turn around down here also. to fast to have any effect on the mosquitoes maybe?

Minnesota & skeets, that's our State bird,
they were spraying last night, they did the street but not the alley.
but the skeets are under control here, at least during day light hours, warm weather and another wet weekend may change that.

This is insane, I cant even be outside without getting torn up. I don't know why it is but I've never been bothered by mosquito bites until about 3 years ago. I used to think people would over react  when they'd get stuck but now that I get welts and the horrible itching I want to move to a place without mosquitoes.

And why isn't that spray working, it just seems to make them angry.

I picked up one of those thermacell repellents yesterday and it sems to work good if you're sitting in one place. If you walk through the grass they ddon't seem to be affected be it as much.

I had the same thought about the spraying - just makes 'em mad. I think that stuff takes more of a toll on the bat population. Saw a lot of dead bats after the sprayer went through my neighborhood.

So what's the best stuff to put on the yard for these blood sucking creatures? And where do you buy it?

Try to stay in the sun and don't shake the bushes.
