Amen!

And, remember when Dr. Funk asks for another referendum:

"Bottom line: As your superintendent, I am charged by the board and taxpayers of this community to run the district in the most effective and efficient manner possible. I also must insure that we are increasing opportunity and achievement, while providing a safe healthy and welcoming environment. The changes that are occurring within Albert Lea allow us to do this, without having to go back to the taxpayers and ask for a tax increase at the local level."

WOW!!!
I am amazed that this administration took the initiative to tour other schools?  I have wondered why this was not done years ago!!!  In the past, many associated with the district have been very vocal in defense of why the district year after year could not meet AYP.  Rather then address the issue head on and make required changes, some decided to simply defend their failings with excuses and pass the blame!  Now with Erhardt gone and a new head at the reins perhaps things can begin to turn around and give AL school district back the reputation it once had! :peaceout:
Wow..you are a disgruntled employee (ex ???)
What exactly did the district get from the last referendum? You know, the one...thats for the kids
