I just talked to a friend that was on his way to get an autograph from this months Playboy centerfold. He said she is at the music store in the mall signing autographs. He said she was born here, anyone else heard this?

I dont know about being born here, but she is claiming to be from Alden. Got a chance to see her having coffee this morning while I was having my meeting with Christine Moser. Very hot. Came home and told my 15 year old son, I could smell the rubber smokin from the tires on his bike he took off so fast.

She was not born here in AL but is from the area. She used to bartend at the Bend in the Road. I think her name is Audra or something like that. Supposedly she dated the last bachelor Aaron from the TV show. She met him in Rochester when he was there for some publicity.

I think she grew up near Hartland, but went to school at Alden-Conger. She just got done doing some independent movie, I think it's called Jinxie? Suppose to be story tonight at 6 on KAAL.

She was using a tanning booth in Geneva when I was getting my hair cut 
. After she left, I was told that she was posing for Playboy, and had dated one of our local deputies before hooking up with the Bachelor guy.

She looks like a healthy corn fed farm girl. The kind that could ride horses all day and kick your arse all night...and then party at the keg till dawn 
I like her honesty. At 23 I was expected to have chosen ambitions. She wants a very wealthy older fellow to be a father figure, then set her up on a huge ranch with or own show horses like when she was a child.

Thanks for the compliment Jim. I know Audra Lynn personally and is a good friend. I thought since Pam Bishop accused me of being a pornographer I'd better become one. As you can see, there is no nudity and it was done in "good taste". Maybe Ms. Bishop would like me to do hers.

Here's what I know about Audra that I can share. She grew up in Hartland and went to school in Alden. She did work at the Bend in the Road as a bartender for a year or so. Then she went to the Geneva Liquor Store to work. She was doing some modeling during both of her bartending jobs, and told me two years ago she would be in Playboy someday.
She dated a good friend of mine (that's how I met her), then dated a Freeborn County Deputy for awhile.
She did some more modeling at which time she met Aaron from the TV show "The Bacheolor. She dated Aaron until she found he was a puke and dumped him. She then met Michael Keaton and started dating him. He's much older than her, however he treats her pretty good (at least that's what she tells me). She's now living in Santa Monica, California for while. She's 15 minutes from the Playboy mansion and about 5 minutes from Michael Keaton's home (one of them). Michael also has a horse ranch in Montana.
She hangs out with the likes of Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson, and Carmen Electra.
She's a good friend of both Jenni and I, and she's stayed at our house, been on the back of my bike, and went boating with us (eat your hearts out)....Obviously I did her website and she still keeps in contact with Jenni and I.
In my opinion she is a very nice person that has a good career and will go far. I've encouraged her the whole way (can't take any credit for her success though).

Here's a question, I went up there, but didn't have the time to wait in the line to get an autograph, but I did see a bunch of minors in line with magazines. I thought stores could not sell porn to minors. (if the magazines were being sold, which I think that they were, but not sure)

It's strange anyhow. Somewhere a hot chick is walking around in a community and all people see are a pretty hot chick. Then she has a picture in Playboy and people want her autograph? She's not even a TV star...I don't get it. Ginger Lynn is from Rockford, Ill. and when she goes back there they don't line up for autographs.
What I DO get is the fact that if she would have stayed in the area she'd be making near minimum wage with no future. Now she has Keaten and other rich old guys throwing money at her. Keaten ought to throw on a duputy's uniform and really turn her on...

Playboy is porn .. that's why they keep it behind the counter. I didn't know they were selling to minors. That's disturbing. There is enough crap out there for kids to get into without us handing it to them with our condolences. Nope .. she's not a star ... she took off her clothes. Now she's rubbing elbows ... and what not ... with old men who have big money. We all have our goals! Lot's of luck to Audra .. I know her and she's a nice girl.

Minnow, you're probably right about minors having more sex than me; I am married, afterall! But I would hate to think that a store would even make an exception to a rule/law just because someone local was in the magazine. Then again, an adult could have been buying the magazines for these kids too. Hard to say I guess.

). Also any retailers out there, I have a few displays and stuff. I just can't take living here any longer. I've only been here (from the cities) for a year and a half, and feel I've already stayed a year longer than I planned because I ended up opening the store to provide a job for myself. I've got to get out of here though before I go completely mad! LOL

nattiejean, I moved to town some 25 years ago and had a similar reaction. I had spent some time in the Twin Cities, amongst other place before moving here. I don't know when it happened but Albert Lea became home and now I must be totally mad because I feel that I couldn't take it if I lived in the Twin Cities. Where ever it is I hope you can find a place to call home, for it can be a great comfort.As far as the young lady who became a Playboy centerfold, I hope her desire to leave Albert Lea wasn't the motivating factor for her exhibitionism. Now I know nothing about the modelling business, but I do remember being 18 and needing to get away from home. In reading about Audra, I couldn't help but feel for her parents. I know that they are proud for her success, but I wonder if they wouldn't have wanted that success to have come in another way. I never had that worry, for my kids resemble me, and were far to ugly for this option to be their ticket out of here
