Lately I notice a different pharmaceutical name on my high blood pressure meds after having a reaction to them. I called the Pharmacy who informed me that the previous manufacture was bought out by another, but it was the same pill.

I worked in pharmaceutical manufacturing and research for over 20 years. In order to manufacture a generic version of a drug the process must be different from the original manufacture’s process. Therefore I must disagree with the pharmacy I was given a drug that I was not accustom to and the dosage caused a severe reaction that I am still suffering from.

Beware of your meds if you are taking the generic. Ask your doctor before taking a similar medication from a different manufacture.

But it's not a generic version you said the company was "bought out", that means their drug formulas become the property of the new owners so the drug wouldn't change in any way.
