George, Now why and the hell would you put this post on?  It's just completely depressing and sad. The idea of a 15 year old who has their whole life in front of them commiting suicide is something I could have done without hearing tonight. Anyway, I thought you wrote that you were going to quit posting so much. Done pouting?

I saw this on CNN and researched the site. This site I linked to, says it would violate the freedom of speech to take any actions against them.

I never said I would quit posting.

This is part of a larger push to censor the Internet by Alberto Gonzales, US Attorney General appointed by George Bush. If you voted for Bush, this is your fault. If you think this country is free, you are sadly mistaken. No nation has freedom when it is run by religious zealots.

"If you want total security, go to prison. There you're fed, clothed, given medical care and so on. The only thing lacking is freedom."

Never seen the Eisenhower quote before.  Obviously, it doesn't make any mention of the fights and possible slow death after getting stabbed with a sharpened toothbrush.

As for the suicide website, atleast they explain how "not to" do it.  If your life is bad now, it certainly won't be any better having brain damage from loss of blood, failed asphyxiation, liver damage from pills, etc.

The Occupatioal Saftety and Health Administration (OSHA) has determined that the maximum safe load capacity on my butt is two persons at any one time, unless I install handrails and saftey straps. As you have arrived sixth in line to ride my ass, please take a number and wait your turn.

Thank You

The state of Oregon legalized physician-assisted suicide in 1994. the Federal Government, Alberto Gonzales, US Attorney General now attacks States rights and those of the individual.
Earlier this month, the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments in the Gonzales v. Oregon case, which seeks to challenge the legality of Oregon’s physician-assisted suicide legislation.

Docket Number: 04-623

Isn't it ironic that the party the supposedly wants less government intervention wants to control your life from the moment you're conceived to the day you die?  :upside:

"Other than telling us how to live, think, marry, pray, vote, invest, educate our children and now, die, I think the Republicans have done a fine job of getting the government out of our personal lives."
