It looks like they're planning to work on trail.

I checked out part of the trail today. You could ride it but I'd walk your bike over the bridges.

The creek below the 2nd bridge.

Is Sundance Lane where the old chemical plant is or was located on hwy 13?

Sundance lane is where that old place is.

I went below the bridge and took the picture with my cellphone just because the water was running faster than it normally does.

Rode out on that trail and it's a rough ride between the brush and railroad rock.

There's a point out there where a large area looks dead. It's been like that long enough to be visible on google.  Any idea what causes that?

doesn't look like it killed everything

is that squiggly line the SHELLROCK?

was trying to find a path, courtesy of GOOGLE EARTH, left by the old tracks on WEST NINTH that went past the elevator

was surprised just how wetlands it is south of there

must have bean quite a deal to run tracks back through there

didn't really see one iota of any track paths all at though

much to my chagrin

This is what that area looked like from the trail.

Possibly drainage ways were change and the area stays wetter for a longer part of the season and thus killed off the trees that are not typically in a water environment

interesting. . .

from up above it seems more barren

was thinking like a defoliant or other chemical spill or something

couldn't really be a bomb training field lol

also of note

to me anyway

is how it seems to have a specific border like a puzzle piece

your ground image makes me think

1) things sure are swollen yet from the rain

2) a lot of that could possibly green up yet in the coming weeks

and yes sure flooding could be part of the equation

except the puzzle piece part hah

gonna be an awesome trail though
