When Lindsey Graham made a call for unity and a peaceful transfer of power this was our Sheriff's response. Maybe the County Board should consider hiring outside security.

I believe that our right to exchange and share information and ideas for entertainment value has been violated by Facebook. In order to share and exchange literary and photography another means must be sought. The Google Server has locked out Parlor due to its value of allowing the free exchange ideas, observations and opinions. Does anyone see a resemblance in these actions and the burning of books in 20 century Europe and Asia.

Didn't the United Sates use social media/networking to spur an uprising in Egypt a few years back? It's a very powerful resource. Now that resource gave us what we had the other day on Capitol Hill. Don't see any of the learning part of the web being shutdown.
Just the parts that distribute lame memes. lol Frankly those people making and reading those could do with mixing in a book. Although physical books would be burned today because nobody wants them. They;re filling up dumpsters.
Things are going to need to be sorted out. Things are going to change. That was going to happen at some point anyway.

Apparently parler was hacked. Hackers, and likely the FBI, have 80tb of data including all the images posted with exif data still intact. And the service didn't actually delete posts, it just marked them as hidden in the filesystem so the FBI likely has even the deleted posts. The best part is, if you wanted to be a verified user they required you to submit an ID 
Good thing right wing terrorists are really dumb, makes it easier to convict them of a felony so they can't own guns.

Think world leaders need to lay off the Twittering. You can't conduct the world on Jerry Springer level of decorum.
Now we have kids growing up who only know a world with that.
To me it's like a reverse Tower of Babel. You have a great resource the internet. And people have only used it to destroy communications. Well effective productive communications.
To me. . people not being able to carry on. . in their snarky back and forth political memes communication mode is not a great loss.

At 77 years young my first vote was for John F. Kennedy, When I was in the Navy station in Fla. Kennedy's democrat party is DEAD. WE now have the Deamoncrats and their Socialist party. They have so much hatred and visceral for this president. Who will be leaving office in seven days just let him go. The deamoncrats are going to make two countries out of the U.S.A. If you think the civil war of 1861-1865 was bad that will be Sunday Picnic compared to the one that's coming. I never believed our country could fall so low that we hate each other so bad?

Donald Trump organized this Stop The Steal Rally on the 6th of January with the intention of overturning the election process and installing himself as President, this man could not except the judicial or States vote count...he's delusional..If you just let him leave his claim of election fraud will fester.
We also need a Commission appointed to investigate this fraud conspiracy. This Commission should have the power to investigate as well as convict.
Trump and his co- conspirators should have their day in court.
This should include the 12 Senators and 120 or so Representatives including our own Jim Hagedorn who gave credibility to Trump's conspiracy theory.
Also right-wing media..digital/audio/visual/print should be held accountable for giving this conspiracy credence.
Fines should be high enough to cover the costs of this Commission, penalties for the ringleaders should be severe.

EXPATEI agree with you on some of your issues, But we also need a commission on voting irregularities in our country that's why voter ID's are needed in every state. I left the military after 22 years.

Met a lot of Navy Vets working at the Utility, if you had a Fireman or Engine room MOS the State of Minnesota would let you use your DD214 as an affidavit and test for your MN. Engineer's License.
Surprisingly a lot of these Navy Vets of the sixties/seventies had never fired a rifle while in the service.
Just a question pepi no insult intended...when you joined the local National Guard after your 4 years Navy time did they make you do Army Basic and AIT or did old Joe Perry give you OJT?

Prior military didn't need to take basic or ait. In the Navy I was in a training command, That taught Navy,Marines and Vet nam pilots to fly T-28 Trogans. In the gaurd I was a Tactial Commo Chief.
