House Majority Leader Paul Ryan: TrumpCare must change to pass the House

Republicans know they can only make improvements to ObamaCare or Repeal it completely and never hold majorities in the house and senate for many years to come..

Republican Governor Kasich says not to throw out the baby with the bathwater.. He says people in his state of Ohio benefit from ObamaCare and the law only needs a few changes..

17.1 % of our GDP is spent on health care. the problem is a for profit healthcare system..there's far too many leeches in our medical system squeaking out their multi-million dollar compensation packages...

When you compare the GDP of single payer Nations those costs are single digit or just breaking double...why oh why would our cost be so out of line..it's the leeches of the for profit system...

^^ why oh why won't they let the free market take care of the problem? To
Buy insurance across state lines would solve a lot of problems but no, we have Nazis that buy their vote from the poor and the lazy in this country. Single payer in other countries, what, Norway, Sweden etc. whose populations pale in comparison to ours?

Mayo Clinic admits it gives priority to privately insured patients over Medicaid, Medicare

Mayo Clinic CEO John Noseworthy, who recently told Mayo employees that the Rochester, Minn.-based health system would give preference to patients with private insurance over Medicaid or Medicare coverage. Those public health programs generally don't reimburse health providers at as high a rate as private plans.

Mayo also likes the patients that have Medicare combined with a Supplemental Insurance Policy..  :hairpull:

Greedy Bastards..

FYI Buying health insurance across state lines doesn't work unless all states are on the same page.. Then you might as well have a single payer system that costs less..

^^ oh heaven forbid the clinic makes money. :sarcasm:

How the hell can you have a welfare state with open borders???

1. Tax business at a rate that works for everyone (Think 1958).

2. Eliminate the middlemen from the healthcare equation.

3. Tariff the f@gg out of sh!t NOT made here.

Done.

^^ middleman, maybe, 90% tax rate? (I imagine you'd want none of the deductions there were in 1958) with high tariffs? You'd be looking at $50 socks at Wally World with 50% unemployment.

Yeah, that'll work :dunce:  :sarcasm:

You can ask the question as many times as you like, but old Republicans blaming healthcare costs on young immigrants is bizarre.

They're not "open".  I don't care how many times Trump says it, it isn't true.  Take a trip and try to cross illegally, but look out for the massive number of CBP agents, assisted by the P3 Orion with sophisticated radar, the Blackhawk helicopters, and < drones that the CBP > has at their disposal.  You might be able to cross, you might get caught.  Either way, that's hardly an open border.

2.  I know plenty of immigrants, both legal and illegal over the years.  Most of them are busy working and raising their families.  If they work somewhere with healthcare they pay premiums just like everyone else.  They're not a drain on our healthcare system, in fact, they're contributing with far less likelihood of being able to file a claim or get a return on what they pay in.

I know it's a rather dubious source but...

SB you're confusing Emergency Medicaid with the ACA, two entirely different programs..

The ACA contains explicit language against providing federally-subsidized coverage to illegal immigrants.

Maybe Trump can get Mexico to pay for it

^^ bustercare or Medicaid it still doesn't matter, it comes out of the pockets of taxpayers.

So does trillions in corporate welfare and unnecessary military spending, but I don't see you complaining about that.

^^ ahh! The drive by artist again :dunce: if you'd read the link I posted you'd see that it referred to illegal immigrants, actual criminals, people that pretty much sneak into your house and steal.

Well, enlighten us as to which corporations you're referring to oh special Ed.
