Neil Gorsuch has been tapped to be our next SCOTUS judge

A constitutionalist in the literal sense and believes in states rights

Another ayatollah who doesn't believe in the separation of church and state, He'd establish a religious rule smilar to sharia if he could get away with it, Christianity is just the flip-side of Wahhabism...

I'll say it again

The US was founded on Christian values.

Yeah, you're a regular Puritan, I wonder what punishment your christian sharia law would impose on you for that rest area porn you post here on a regular basis..

Do you believe birth control should be banned? Do you believe our films or music should be should be censored by some religious value system..or editing our forum censoring the internet..

I believe we have the right to live as we see fit, to be smart enough not to fall victim to the second oldest profession..
Many of our first residents left Europe to escape Religious persecution.

Ronald Reagan once said Government is not the Solution it's the Problem. I say Religion is not the solution it's the problem, we have hundreds of religions represented here in the United States with conflicting beliefs.
Our forefathers were smart enough to realize this and this clause in the Constitution's First Amendment verifies my statement "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" that's the separation of church and state..leaving it to individual choice.

We don't need religious zealots on the Supreme Court...

careful what you wish for SB..

True.  But many of the Founding Fathers were Deists.  Which many Christians today would consider Agnostic or even Atheist.  They believed in a Creator but had varying views of how involved the creator was in the day to day workings of humanity.

Which Christian values would you be speaking of?

The Crusades?

The Spanish Inquisition?

The Nazi march across Europe?

One thing's for certain: Our government is about as far away from the Sermon on the Mount as it can be.

Nazis??? Socialists?? Ok then. I guess we should be more civil like the protestors at Berkly.

On other fronts, seems Chuckles the clown and a few more of his clown squad voted for Gorsuch already.

It's looking more and more that Gorsuch will be confirmed wether the dems help or not. For the dems sake with the coming mid terms it might be a good idea to copitulate and not look like a bunch of nut jobs.

How about Ginsberg? She sure likes to nap a lot. What is she, older than dirt?

I liked Trumps rally in Louisville last night, kind of a "friendly" reminder to 10-12 senators in states he carried of the influence he commands and how much their jobs are in jeopardy. :D

Eventually his antics will grow thin and the masses will cave on him though.  You cannot govern through twitter with these unsubstantiated claims forever.

According to Grassley, Gorsuch will be a justice by Friday midnight.

“I find it ironic and sad that we’re going to change the rules over somebody who’s lived such a good life,” said Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-SC.

McCain needs to go the way of the rubber diaper squad, he hasn't had a coherent thought in years.

Gorsuch is in. I'd say let the whining begin... however ,  with the no brained lefties... it never stops

Anyone want to pitch in to send Ginsburg and Breyer to a hunting ranch in Texas?
Posted by Self-Banished on Apr. 08 2017,3:32 pm
This is like the Trump thread, Gorsuch gets confirmed and will be scorned in Monday and not a peep.

I wonder how Harry Reid feels about now?

Wow, still a snowflake. I post within the rules here, Lib has safe guards to make sure of that. If you don't like what I post, there's a little button up on the right hand side that says "ignore" feel free.
