The old Pizza Hut has a sold sign on it.  Anyone know who bought it?

I wish it would become an a and w root beer stand.  :D

Sold to another PH franchisee.  The largest in MN. Border Foods.  While they do other brands, Pizza Hut is their primary. I would assume they accuired the location and rights to ensure someone else doesn't come into the market,  but possibly they are reopening.

I see they are residing the little house next to it.

I see they tore down the little house and the greenhouse is about gone.  Maybe someone bought all of that property because there isn't a for sale sign on the Pizza Hut anymore.  It would be neat if it would be a bar and grill and the grass area now would be outside seating, volleyball, etc.  Speaking of outside seating and volleyball, the old Bend in the Road bar has an auction sign on it.

Tax information updated shows that Greg Jensen (Auctioneer) owns both the Johnson and Pizza Hut properties now.

The Bend property will be auctioned next Thursday at 6pm.  There is an open house tonight (Thurs July 14th) from 5-6pm as well.  Currently owned by Produce State Bank, it will be auctioned by Jensen Auctions.  http://www.albertleatribune.com/2016/07/new-owners-plan-to-auction-off-former-manchester-bar/

The greenhouse, cement, shed and little house is all gone.  Looks real nice.  Asked Dan Dorman the other day if he knew what was going in there and he did not know.

RIP Pizza Hut. Lousy pies, crappy service. Head down to Jake's and lament the loss of a crappy chain store.

Maybe you'll get lucky and get a Pizza Man franchise down there.

Is 't Jakes a chain store? I see there's one in St Peter.

Jake's is more of a cooperative than a chain.  The others in the state all source their ingredients and in particular the seasonings from the same person, but operationally they are all individual stores.

We just drove by there and there is a big backhoe demolishing the big house that was there.  Last month, I know people were living in it because we saw a bunch of kids toys outside.  Too bad they couldn't have saved it.

That Johnson Floral could have been a neat thing. If they could have supplemented the plant stuff with something else.

Like a Starbucks or something. With indoor water fountains and lots of skylight for the long cold winter season. Surrounded in lush plant foliage.

That would just happen to be for sale as well.
