Southtown Liquor has not been opened for a couple of months.  Anyone know if they are closed for good or just gone for the winter.

Guess closed, at least for now.  On the delinquent tax list as of January.  Along with Americas Best Value Inn.  Taco King by WalMart is on the first notice list as of February 19th.

^ how do you get info on delinquent taxes for businesses? Is it through that beacon site or do you have internal sources?

This specifically is the liquor taxes.  Through MN Dept of Revenue.  They update it every weekday.

I clicked on your link to check out this list and discovered that our local motel (America's Best Value Inn) is still on the list along with the closed Southtown Liquor. Therefore, how does a local bar/restaurant like the Big Island operate for 3 months selling a perishable product (beer) and they must have a huge inventory of liquor and wine to accomplish this. Or, are they breaking the law and purchasing product at liquor stores somewhere? Just another black eye for a long established Albert Lea business.
