Mr. Obama is going to give his last state of union address. Wonder how many people will watch. I will be at work for the first part of it. Maybe he will be short with it and it will be over when i get home then i can see what the news particularly fox has to say about it. I think that's the best part anyway is seeing the news talk about it afterward.

I have to work so I won't see it.  I'll just listen and read about it afterwards.  Though if I were home I probally wouldn't watch it anyways.  I haven't watched any of his SOTU addresses, but to be fair I never watched any of Bush Jr's SOTU addresses either.  I haven't sat through a full SOTU adress since Clinton was in office.  Mainly because you end up hearing the same BS every year no matter who's in office.

Sen. Bernie Sanders issued the following statement after President Barack Obama delivered his final State of the Union address:

“President Obama raised some enormously important points regarding the long-term future of our country – much I agreed with. Not only can we effectively combat climate change, we can create good paying jobs. Yes, we have to destroy ISIS, but we must do so through a coalition, and we cannot get bogged down in perpetual warfare in the quagmire of the Middle East.

“I also appreciated the president’s point that we need more civil politics, that we need to get big money out of politics, and that at a time of tremendous wealth and income inequality we must revitalize American democracy.”

And you bought all that crap because he's supposedly a Democrat? How many Hope and Change bumper stickers did you have?

^I've made my positions clear,  I felt sold-out by this President on TPP,  we're giving away our jobs to a country (political System) that was drummed into our heads was evil, (so evil that we were sent to war) but now somehow they get preferred nation trade status because Corporations can enslave their cheap labor..

Obama has kowtowed to the Republicans on several Corporate issues that don't really represent US, but on the other hand he's not a full-blown Corporate lackey like the majority of the Republicans..

He made several points in his speech which draw him closer to Sanders position.
My support is for Sanders, my fear is that any of these crazies from the Republican party take the Presidency..
