Trump's "Nutty" Proposal Is Already the Law of the Land -- and Was Used by Jimmy Carter During the Hostage Crisis

December 09, 2015

RUSH: Here is number eight US Code 1182, inadmissible aliens.  This law was written in 1952.  It was passed by a Democrat-controlled Congress, House and Senate, and signed by a Democrat president.

"Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by president.  Whenever the president finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, the president may, by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate."

Over here, everybody in the establishment in the political class, Republican, Democrat, media, you name it, is all claiming that what Trump said is dumb, stupid, reckless, dangerous, unconstitutional, while it is the law of the land.  And it was utilized by Jimmy Carter, no less, in 1979 to keep Iranians out of the United States, but he actually did more.  He made all Iranian students already here check

This question came up online, on CNN's page. A good question that received no answers:

What has Trump done to benefit the American public in general?

The answer is nothing. His conceit is total. Trump is a street vendor selling trinkets for a nickel. And the children love it.

^^Maybe the question should be "What has stoke lady done to benefit the American public?"

Trump has played his campaign masterfully but I still haven't made my decision as to who I would like to see become president.

Was it Obama who recently said something about restrictions on immigration is not an american value?

That begs the question...why is Obama more concerned about the safety and security of non-citizens then the citizens he swore to protect and defend?

hmmmm

< 8 US Code section 1182 >:

the breeze is right...passed by a Democrat majority and signed into law by Harry S. Truman, also a (D)onk.

Another deflection response. I'm no big fan of Hillary but she has helped american people:

- Lilly Ledbetter Pay Equity Act
-Pediatric Research Equity Act.
-Sec. Clinton accomplished the nearly impossible mission of getting China, Russia, the European Union and the civilized world on board with crippling sanctions against Iran. This is what brought Iran to the negotiating table.

Ms. Fiorina may not see that as an accomplishment, since while she was CEO of Hewlett-Packard the firm sold hundreds of millions of dollars of computer products to the terrorist regime in Tehran, evading US sanctions.

Many other initiatives favoring children and women, of which Trump has no regard. Of course comparing the two is in itself a deceptive tactic used by Trumpies.

I repeat: what has Trump done to help the American public?

He currently employ's over 22,000 people.  I wonder how many dependents are provided for by those wages?  I wonder what the economic impact those people have in their communities?

The Clinton's have been supported by taxpayers for most of their adult lives.

She is either really incompetent or a liar or both.  If you can't see that, then you can't be helped.  It's ok though...I don't hate you for it.

How is an alien afforded the enumerated Rights of the Constitution if said alien isn't even an American citizen?

Entry can be denied under the US code by declaring syria(or any other daesh majority excrement-hole) a hostile entity, just like carter did with iran.

Employing part-time minus all benefits, employing at substandard wages, employing overseas sweatshop children, employing methods to squeeze wealth from working class families, employing business school grads who devise clever banking policy that bets against success, employing lawyers to hide bank accounts offshore.

And employing virtueless online corporate shills.

The Third Reich employed a lot of people - at Auschwitz-Birkenau, at Buchenwald, at Treblinka, at Warsaw, at Zyklon-B factories...

The Obama Administration employs a great many people, too. Are you sure you want to open this particular can o' worms?

For shame! Forcing those folks to work for a substandard wage, forcing those fine people to work without benefits, for that matter, forcing them to work at all, that bastard!

I wonder what kind of gun he held to their heads? :sarcasm:  :dunce:

Creepy antagonists who purposely misinterpret a set of data to their advantage.

Placing a weapon to somone's head may be their form of persuasion. Corporatocracy is much more subtle, and far more effective. The art of creating sheep of human beings.
They should know that.
