So now a woman claims she was sexually assaulted by Cosby 40 years ago at the Playboy mansion when she was 15. So she's suing him because she just realized how it affected her. I think the vast majority of these 18 women are looking to get paid.

I think all of the women would be happy if he spent a few years in prison and he can keep his cash. He is a criminal and should be treated as such.

Who wants to stand alone (a nobody) against a national icon or the catholic church?Strength is in numbers. It will take an army to defeat this criminal.

Well that is a stupid comparison. You are talking about hundreds (if not thousands) of priests that were for the most part protected by the church by having them get moved around and/or hiding known activities.

Rapist? I guess we're just skipping trials now and convicting people in the court of public opinion.

Agreed. Beware the sudden straw-man argument. I never saw anything in your words that suggested you support any of this, whether at the hands of Bill Cosby or those of a trusted Catholic patriarch.

To be honest, I know very little of the Bill Cosby incident(s). I do know women have come forward and that is about it. Until this is played out in the court of law, or by both parties saying their piece, I withhold judgement on either.As for the Catholic Church/Priest molestation cases, that is well known fact and I find it appalling that Catholic Churches involved in covering this up haven't been prosecuted. If this were a business, it would be forced to close up shop (and rightfully so), but because it's a religion, we treat it with kid gloves. That's a crock of crap in my book.

I’m not a Cosby fan or really attempting to defend him, he may have some past history.But fact is what we have now is a 77 year old man who looks like he ate as many Jell-O Pudding Pops as he sold. Fat Albert has turned to a soft noodle most likely.
Hormonal drive wanes as we age, we’re more apt to think with the big head, there’s an odor of gold digger here.
