I don't know what happened, but trying to navigate this site is a nightmare now, at least with Chrome.

Anyone else seeing this?

It's not just this site!  I get it no matter where I go!  Arcade Yum?  Or sometimes it's Yum Arcade.  Most of the time you can delete it in a few seconds, but not on the weather channel.  There you have to reply and then send it before it will go away.

If it's the same thing you are talking about.   I can't get rid of it.

When this happens to me, I sometimes find a new extension in the Chrome extensions folder. Deleting it usually solves the problem temporarily, but it gets old after the tenth time or so.

I’m not having any problems with popups, but I don’t use chrome.
There are two tracking cookies I pick up at this site, www. albertlea.com (google adsense ) ( google analytics ) my software blocks both, it’s really clean here compared to other sites.

I am not having any issues either.  I strictly use Firefox, unless looking in on my phone, then I use Chrome

Do a boot scan with Free Avast Home anti-virus..

I use Chrome and no problems with adware..

Everyone do yourself a favor, install this: < Malwarebytes >
Then run a scan and reboot your computer. If it finds more than 20 threats, google how to boot your computer into safemode and run it again from there. Do this at least once a month. If you're getting popups on websites, it's not the sites problem, you most likely installed some fake software that opened a back door into your browser.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!!
It was quite a nightmare trying to cope with the pop ups on web pages.  Got to the point I couldn't see the web page because of junk that would come up and cover them.  Downloaded malwarebytes and it completely fixed the problem - and it was FREE!

I've never seen a pop-up on this site, but I don't use Chrome either.  Try switching browsers and see if they still come up.
