You have to ask yourself, what sort of a moron of a newspaper editor keeps publishing his letters?
Albert Lea has an image problem. This garbage isn't helping.
If you want to attract fresh faces and new ideas to your community, this is not the way to do it.
If Paul Westrum wants to live in a country with machine guns on every corner, perhaps we should take up a collection and make arrangements for him to stay in Israel.

Westrum is possible white supremacy material. But he's the type who hasn't the balls to actually do it.
It's telling to see none of the other regular neo-fascist Trib letter writers back up Paul. He's a bit too wacky even for that crowd.

Good grief. I wonder what kind of paper would continue to print Wayne, Patrick and the guy with the girls name's letters? I learned to loathe David's weekly columns, but the paper seems to give freedom of expression to many or perhaps all.I happen to agree with some of the things Paul writes. I take it, you would like to call me some of those names also.
You need to remember to turn on the lights before using your OTC meds. I think you got your Orajel and Preparation H mixed up.

I drove out to Denver a couple weeks ago and driving through rural Nebraska I was thinking that Paul Westrum must have never been through that state if he thinks this country is full.

I did not mean to imply that Westrum's particular brand of crazy was totally encapsulated by this latest example in the Fishwrap. I presumed everyone was familiar with his history. And I didn't mean to suggest that anyone's access to free speech should be suppressed. I gave everyone enough credit to see where I was going with this. My bad.

All the Isreali tough talk gets old. Their successful attacks recently include flotillas and human rights violations on occupied Palestinians. If you go further back there's the defenseless USS Liberty where they killed 34 Americans and wounded over a hundred.
