Smart man. I like how the neighbors are all butt hurt over this. I think they are mad because they didn't think of it.I say more power to this guy and good for him.

I grew up down by Houston...but I knew people who lived in communities like this...and I STILL find it funny!! Seriously tho...if there is no mortgage company...and the owner walked away...that leaves the bank...sort of. My guess is the mortgage company paid the bank off before they closed, so it is truly an abandoned house. Some people need to get a life...

Wouldn't be a bit surprised if they just don't like that he is black. If a white guy did it, the neighbors would be reporting on clever he was.
