I fell asleep with the TV on last night listening to Obama's second to last State of the Union speech. I have no idea where to start but essentially it comes down to the same rhetoric that we've been hearing for the last six years, tax the rich, give away more to folks that don't even pay taxes, free school, free daycare etc etc and even more etc.I read this article in the Wall Street Journal the morning, excellent read...

Hold on just a minute SB. It is a fact that the wealthy have been enjoying lower and lower tax than ever in history. How did this happen? Lobbyists working for the wealthy. I remember some of you defending the wealthy as just following allowed tax law. Now these laws are being delt with and you cry foul. As far as hand outs going out to just anyone, totally untrue. There are going to be guidelines imposed. Going over any bridges today?

What is it with some of you folks with low taxes? People have risked and worked their ass off for what they make yet a lot of the bottom feeders think that it's their money just because. I get a kick out of some people that pay in a couple of grand during the year then brag about getting 5-6 grand back and calling themselves taxpayers😇

I hear you on that. My point is that the infrastructure of this country is decaying to the point where it is getting dangerous. The wealthy have lobbied their way out of paying taxes. That money should have been used to keep this country in repair. I agree that way too much goes to those that don't deserve, the wealthy are right in there, just in a different way. If you would have watched last nite, the theme was the middle class. If someone does nothing, nothing gets done.

Who would believe him? He was voted biggest liar of 2013. I think he "nosed out" Rand Paul this year with his comment about ISIS being a JV team although Hillary came in close when she with her dead broke comment.
