Jen Bush announced his bid for the White House, oh joy On the bright side his Spanish is pretty good. I suppose a another Bush presidency could be worse, Could be Bernie Sanders Posted by Liberal on Jun. 15 2015,5:14 pm
Jeb speech wasn't bad especially if you consider the last Clinton speech. A lot of the time she sounded like she was reading a list of sound bites and expected the crowd to cheer and they were pretty silent until the end of the speech. Also at times it seemed to me she was trying to emulate Obama's speaking style.< https://youtu.be/ZgGPMrLHRy0 > Posted by Self-Banished on Jun. 15 2015,6:22 pm
Yeah, I listened to her earlier, sounded choppy and scripted during a lot of it. What's with the logo?? Reminds me of Sargeant Hatred from Venture Bros.

(Self-Banished @ Jun. 15 2015,4:01 pm) QUOTE Could be Bernie Sanders Yes, because socialized anything is bad. Wait a minute... What about firemen? Or libraries? Or primary and secondary education? We get those things for free. How awful. Posted by Self-Banished on Jun. 15 2015,7:46 pm
^^have you seen the caliber of our public education lately?
Posted by Botto 82 on Jun. 15 2015,8:34 pm
Pfft. Like anyone in government really wants an educated electorate. But yeah, let's privatize school. See how much THAT costs. While we're at it, let's privatize roads, too. Let's put like 500 toll booths up and down I-35. Ten bucks an axle. Bet you'd be wishin' for the good old days of socialized roads in no time. Posted by Self-Banished on Jun. 15 2015,8:53 pm
^^^I've run many toll roads and I would have no problem with them now. You really need to think this one through as to why I wouldn't mind toll roads

(Self-Banished @ Jun. 16 2015,10:06 pm) QUOTE war with Iran is almost certain, no matter who gets in office thanks to Buster. War with Iran has been "almost certain" for at least 30 years. All right, I'll bite, how is it that a Democrat elected in '08 is responsible for all of our problems with Iran? Posted by Self-Banished on Jun. 20 2015,6:04 pm

^^We're experiencing terrorism on a global level and it is here and escalating. Like it or not we are a Christian nation and with the immigration levels of Islam we're going to see more incidents. Botto seems to have this guilt trip thing going that most of the worlds woes are the fault of America.Indoctrinated? I think for myself pal, you should turn off NPR and do the same. I don't know what you think NPR is up to, but it's obvious you don't listen. We've been up to this since before either of us was born. Pick up a book once in a while. When the rhetoric fades and the focus of the (increasingly) uninformed masses shifts a few dozen times, history tends to take a less zealous view of things we've done. That's not being an apologist. That's being a realist. Posted by Self-Banished on Jun. 22 2015,7:43 am
