If you watch the latest county commissioner meeting Kindler asks the board to accept his resignation on December 31st so that he'll be able to screw the taxpayers out of a couple more dollars. It's about 48 minutes into the video

And if you were in the same shoes, would you not be looking at your own best interest or do you just sit back and say oh well it is what it is??? Granted I see what you say but you need to remember how many years has he contributed his share to PERA. It's just like any employer/employee matching contribution retirement fund.

Sore loser. Liberal I agree with you. He ran saying he was ethical and fair. So where are those ethics now? Shows how much he could be trusted, secures my vote and others that the right person was elected. I wonder... Did the investigation into members of his department show something, was he part of it?

So if he quits before the start of the new year he will get 1% more a month? Also did they accept his resignation?

I made some calls. The sooner he goes out on pension or retirement, the less it costs the county. Prior retires say that there is a benefit in retiring before the first of a month, and it is because of then you get two checks the first month of retirement, and I did't understand that. But the county quits paying into his pension the day he quits, and his payments come out of what he and the county paid in before. It only hurts his pension fund if anything.*****I hope Belshan felt that an elected official should finish his term and not quit early for financial benefit. I think he is right in this case, and this item should not have been allowed to been brought to a vote. The term is set, they know it. Good for Belshan.

When-They tendered on the 18th to be done on December 31.

I really don't know how good Sheriff Kindler could lead since being voted out.. I'd be a little less motivated if I was in his shoes..

Why would want to stay and deal with a person who doesn't know what he is doing we will see in 4 years why Freeborn county made a mistake.

I see nothing wrong with screwing the tax payers. I do it any way I can.
