Good thing no one will get Ebola.  I know a lot of schools and organizations are calling for someone to head a force to fight the potential spread of Ebola.

This Czar could just as well be a tiddlelywinks champ as < Ebola Czar >.

Once again we need somebody to head something up, that  should have been handled with common sense. I can't believe how inept some people are! :hairpull:

< Remember the bird flu czar? >

Yep, reminded about it five days ago.  Wasn't he Assistant Secretary for Public Health and Preparedness and working at HHS before 9/11?  He also holds  < Juris Doctor degree >.  Quite an accomplishment.

Bush had a nack to surround himself with bright people.  He even listened to them occasionally.  :D

He was a lawyer, and you think that made him qualified? I'm guessing you thought the word Doctor meant he was an Md?

CNN reported that year, "HHS officials admit Simonson has no undergraduate or advanced degree in public health."

When muted questions were raised about the selection, Health and Human Services secretary Thompson defended Simonson, much as the way the White House defends Klain, by stressing the czar's experience within government, his preparedness, and his ability to get things done.

Yeah, right.  That's why I attached a Wiki on  Juris Doctor.

So what are you trying to say?

I don't think experience or education in a particular field qualifies a person to run a business within that field.  What's more important is being able to run the organization period regardless of thepersons background.

Take Barry for example.  Community organizer extraordinaire and lawyer.  He didn't have much experience with foreign policy, health care, or the energy industry prior to becoming the President, yet he has successfully...oh wait,  never mind.  :(
