Why are all the current acts always country, country...and country. It bothers me. Why can't there be more variety?c mon people.

The entertainment might be nearly all country, but your memory is poor if you can't remember any other type of bands.

i would prefer a free fair! let those who enjoy the grandstand shows pay for the privilege & not roll it into every paid admission. for a family of four with kids 10 or older they will be charged $36 & that just gets them in the gate! if you drive there you can add another $5. by the time you feed them & hit some rides you will be looking at another $50 or more.

the grandstand is not free cuz you had to pay 9.00 to get to it get a good look at the midway this year what a joke

I felt the same way! The rides are in nicer condition (Miriams was ready for the scrap heap) but the variety was horse crap! I checked the website for Gold Star Entertainment, and this is just a portion of what they have.. the good rides went to counties that people actually enjoy, as in FREE ADMISSION, as in Austin and Owatonna.

we are not big fair but when we do go its normally Austin or Owatonna . u this year I am laid up and cant get out so it stay ho and save money ,, well sorta

seriously, Freeborn County Fair Directors, GET SOME VARIETY...PA-LEASE.The 2nd largest crowd you've had was when Hinder was here. It doesn't have to be heavy thrash metal...just good Entertainment and music.!
