Whats up with tribs web site? a lot of links they have headlines for are set up for you to take a survey when you click on the news link to read the story.
I suppose it is to cover up the poor reporting that most of the links on their web site do not have stories attached to their "Healine news links"
A link below shows what I am talking about...What a waste of time.

The Austin Daily Herald Bird Cage Liner (also a Boone publication) has been doing this for some time now. It's annoying.

I have clicked every link on the site, and I get NOTHING related to a survey.  The link posted to the girl who's deer kill, was taken by wolves goes straight to the story.

I just clicked on it again and it wants the survey.

GD's adblocker is stopping the browser from resolving google's ad survey.

I guess I see them because I'm using Chrome then.

It seems Firefox's add-ons are more sophisticated!

Then spread the word to install Firefox and add the addon Ad block plus to it, seen someone post a reply to a story about the fact they had to take a survey before reading the story.

Or use flipboard on your phone, the Tribune articles have no ads on it.

I have been using the adblocker for Firefox, but the Ads are back on Tribune website.  Trying the rectify now.

I had to switch from Adblock Plus to "Updated Ad Blocker for Firefox 11+ 0.7.7" and now the ads are gone again

Thank you for the update.  It is working good now.

I don't visit those crap Boone websites enough to make me want to modify my browser choice, or screw around with a bunch of plugins.
