Isn't that the Carnegie Library that's next door to the S.O.B.?

S.O.B.?  If you mean the library building just down court street from the Aragon yes it is.  It is not the old church building across from Bonnerups and the old high school.

  I think it is.

The site selected was at the corner of South Washington Avenue and West College Street. The two-story brick Carnegie Library building was dedicated in April 1904 and was destined to serve the city’s citizens for the next 64 years.

Ahhh  that's it.   I was mistaken for a bit.   I am not in A.L. all that often anymore (especially not in that part of town when I am there).   I remember riding down the cement rail of the steps at the church accross from Bonnerups on a skateboard when I was a kid.

What are the buildings in the top right corner?  Is that the old girls college?

Actually I didn't blow up the picture, I had a picture of it from ebay but didn't know the date.

Here's a photo of the old post office.
