Here is the address for the ALPD scanner for anyone that's PM'd me aksing for the URL again.

ALPD Live scanner feed
if you open the address with either Internet Explorer or Windows media player you should be able to connect to the ALPD police scanner. I have the PD and a few other frequencies programmed in and it will put you to sleep pretty quick(don't be surprised to hear 30 mins of silence). It's a very small audio feed so you should have no problem connecting with any type of internet connection.
If either the web server or the streaming media server gets bogged down I will take the scanner feed down to conserve bandwidth on the web server.

The link works, make sure you have windows media player installed.
You may also have to wait for a while to hear something, it can go for 10 - 15 minutes without a single call coming across.

On mine it wouldn't work through the browser, but typing the URL into the player works fine, maybe just my computer but it could be the problem with your's also slick.
Be careful not to keep turning the volume up thinking thats why theirs no noise, it'll give you a heart attack when they come on! My ears are still ringing.
