If there's one thing we need it's flowers and strings of lights. Oh, and that same old pipe dream of, "We should get a big company to move here with high paying jobs."
Never heard a council candidate say that the council seat is just a stepping stone to higher office. And she refers to Albert Lea as "her town" after living in New York for 30+ years and only moving back here because she had to care for a family member?

once you've been in one of those council seats for a while. . .you're pretty there till you don't wanna be there any more aren't you?
meaning good luck unseating the incumbents
throwing out some MAGA talk might work in FREEBORN COUNTY though. .
