A friend of mine showed me a photo & video she had taken of 4 day care kids that ran down the street to the end of a block and 2 of the kids crossed a street, she heard 2 of the girls says .. " we should go back or she'll get mad".. all of the kids were at the corner of a street, opposite end of the day care resident - she estimated the kids were gone from the day care setting for approx 5-8 minutes - with NO SUPERVISION of an adult was around ! The kids ages she guessed where between 3 ? 4? 5? and 6
She said she reported it the DHS office for the licensing dept, also the ALPD and DHS again for child endangerment.
She doesn't think any thing has been done with the situation of what was reported, she just feels the parents at least deserve to know what happened..
I was floored when she told me this as being a parent and a grandparent.. that is one of the worst nitemares having your child run away from the day care setting !!
And your "paying" for supervision of your children..
She is at a loss as what else to do .. or just drop it ?? I hope and pray it never happens again where a child is hit by a car - or taken in a kidnapping !!!

It's a racket, some of these places don't give a damn, some of them hold up the state for money.
