So what's the going rate dollar wise to give a teen to spend at the fair in a day-evening?

Im thinking $ 100.00 bill should cover it? Things are high these days.

Please share feedback. :cheer:

My wife and I spend under $100 for a day at the state fair but that's without admission or parking.

I'd say you're a pretty generous Dad giving a yard, seems inline. :D

Pretty generous.  When I was 13 or 14 my friend and I would jump the fence so we could save our money for snacks and games and avoid the entry fees.
The security people on horseback put a stop to that.

I spent $50 or $60 at the fair last year for me and a date.  That seemed like a lot, but I was only there a few hours.

One kid spending a hundred bucks at the fair sounds like a high-roller, IMO.   :D

Make them get a job and you won't need to worry how much they spend.

Speaking of the fair. I hear they now shave pigs for the hog show.

When I took hogs back in the day, we would wash them and walk them to the show ring and that was it, hoping it didn't roll around in mud or fight with another hog along the way.

Well the Fairs over till next year.  Me and the missus went out twice this year.  The first day and the last.  It was a little disappointing, it seemed like they had a lot of empty spaces, especially under the grand stand, and only a total of 45 vehicles entered in the demo derby(speard out in 5 catagories/heats).
