Can't say I'm upset with our Sheriff retiring. It will be nice to get back to having a nonpartisan sheriff. And one that won't sue us for a 23% raise when he knew what the job paid going in.
Crazy how he wanted to spend our money. What did Freeborn county have to do with northern MN pipeline protests? They didn't even ask for help and he volunteers for our deputies to get involved, while being paid with Freeborn County tax dollars, and risks our deputies being injured over something that had nothing to do with us. My guess is he was dreaming of being on Fox and Fiends to spew bullshit.
