"Every other network has given all their shows to liberals. We are the balance."

So said Roger Ailes in a profile written by the Daily Beast's Howard Kurtz Sunday which also included the Fox News chairman taking a shot at MSNBC's Joe Scarborough:

Ailes has a blunt rejoinder to those who say he runs a biased outfit: “Every other network has given all their shows to liberals. We are the balance.”

Ailes used a former Republican Congressman turned television host as an example of liberal dominance in the media:

Even MSNBC morning host

Vikings 2011 Season W/L
what is your prediction?
Posted on: Sep. 25 2011,9:15 pm by usmcr

This season is starting to look like a total disaster! i can already see them packing their bags for L.A. no new stadium here for these clowns! when will they ever learn that hiring these quarterbacks that have seen their better days is good thing for the franchise. i had high hopes for the vikes to make a good showing against the lions today. i never expected them to blow the lions out in the first half, nor did i expect them to again blow the lead in the last half. i think it is time for ponder to jump in there to see what he can do, it can't get much worse or can it????  :dunno:

There's just no pleasing you conservatives.

Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream comes out with a flavor that you'd think would be right up the teabagger's alley, but instead they're protesting Ben and Jerry's new Schweddy Balls flavor.

There's just no pleasing some people.

QUOTE

An affiliate of one of the largest pro-family organizations in the United States is asking its tens of thousands of constituents to protest the decision by Ben and Jerry's ice cream company to give a flavor a name that carries two meanings, one of which is a vulgar sexual reference.

The request from OneMillionMoms.com, a part of the American Family Association, said:

Ben and Jerry's announced their newest ice cream flavor which sounds anything but appealing. 'Schweddy Balls' is the best they could come up with. The vulgar new flavor has turned something as innocent as ice cream into something repulsive. Not exactly what you want a child asking for at the supermarket.
